She died at her home.

She was born at home and attended rural school. She lived for 85 years in Spring Grove, moving to Colorado in 1999.

She owned a seamstress business for many years and had worked in various stores in the area.

On Feb. 10, 1934, she married James L. Larson. She was a former member of Trinity Lutheran Church in Spring Grove and its women's groups. She was also a member of the Legion and hospital auxiliaries.

She was survived by one son, Albert (Bette) Larson of Holmen, Wis.; two daughters, Mona (James) Roe of Highlands Ranch, Colo., and Dorothy (Don) Gantenbein of Mesa, Ariz.; nine grandchildren, James Roe II, Alyssa Roe, Tim Gantenbein, John Gantenbein, Dan Gantenbein, Todd Gantenbein, Jim Gantenbein, Vikki Torrez and Kim Fonstad; five great-grandchildren, Morgan Gantenbein, Haley Gantenbein, Ashlyn Fonstad, Colden Fonstad and Alivia Janora Torrez; also one sister, Gilma Onsgard of Spring Grove. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by three brothers, Odell, Henry and Vernon; and three sisters, Olga, Corrine and Selma.
She died at her home.
