Sarah Parrielee James was born May 2,1854 in Dripping Springs, Hays Co, Texas to Martin James and Mary Forbes. She had at least six sisters and one brother; Amanda, Mary Lizabeth, Laura, Lurinda Ann, Milton B, Emma, and Mattie.

She married James Landrum Cade, the son of James Hale Cade and Susannah Hale, abt 1880. They had five children; Susan'Sue'(1881), Mamie Josephine(1883), Sarah Parrie(1884), Lee Lester(1885), and Sidney Ervin(1891).

Sarah's sister Mary Lizabeth, married James Landrum's brother Benjamin Hale Cade.

In 1891 Sarah and James were living in Ballinger, Runnels Co., Texas. James Landrum was called by friends and relatives as 'Lan'.

Lan was in Arizona when he died in 1912. Not sure why or when he went to Arizona. He was buried there.

Sarah was living in San Angelo, Tom Green Co, Texas when she died on May 20, 1937. She was a homemaker and a loving mother most of her life. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her. She was laid to rest on May 21, 1937 in Belvedere Memorial Cemetery, San Angelo, Tom Green, Co, Texas.
