Mrs. Nellie Cooper, wife of Joseph N. Cooper, died after a short illness in Brownsville Hospital.

A resident of Brownsville for the past 36 years, Mrs. Cooper and her husband operated the Girard Hotel at the intersection of Market Street and Broadway for a number of years, and more recently they have been operators of the Brownsville Hotel.

Surviving in addition to the husband are two daughters, Mrs. Leslie Rubin, Brownsville; and Mrs. Edward Grossman, Canton, Ohio; and one son, Herman Cooper, Brownsville.

Mrs. Cooper was a member of Temple O’Have Israel in Brownsville and of the Hebrew Ladies Aid Society.

Funeral will be at the Ross Funeral Home with burial in Gates of Wisdom Cemetery in Pittsburgh.
