Marcelle Bragunier Miles, 85, of Chattanooga, TN died at 10:48 p.m. on Monday, October 31, 2011.

Mrs. Miles moved here in 1961 from Maryland. She was a member of Ridgedale Baptist Church and enjoyed teaching Bible School and Sunday School. She was a Girl Scout leader. She was a wonderful mother and the best baker in the world, known for her cinnamon rolls.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Frank and Martha Bragunier and five brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her daughters, Beverly Gossett, Betty Julian and Bonny Clark; seven grandchildren, John and Frank Gossett, Brad and Scott Julian, Doug Moss, Jennifer and Jill Clark; two great-grandchildren, McKenzie and Drew Gossett and one sister, Lola French.

The family wishes to thank the staff of Standifer Place for their loving care.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ridgedale Baptist Child Development Center Scholarship Fund.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Friday, November 4, 2011 in the chapel of the funeral home with Dr. Bill Owens officiating.

Burial will follow in Lakewood Memory Gardens South.

The family will receive friends on Thursday, November 3, 2011 from 6–8 p.m., and Friday, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m., prior to the service at Heritage Funeral Home, 7454 E. Brainerd Road, Chattanooga, TN.
