Glenn Decker, 90, of Beallsville, Ohio, died Thursday, Dec. 29, 2005 in the Woodsfield Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was born Oct. 8, 1915 near Beallsville, a son of the late John Alva and Carrie Louise Jeffers Decker.

He was a member of the Belmont Ridge Christian Church, an Army veteran of World War II and a retired carpenter.

In addition to his parents, Glenn was preceded in death by five brothers, Argyle "Dick", Park, Forrest, Arby and Doyce; three sisters: Gladys Neiswonger, Edna Hamilton and Mary Haley.

Surviving are his wife of 61 years, Bea Cecil Decker; two daughters, Penny (Dwight) Lucas of Beallsville, and Diana Hypes of Reynoldsburg; two granddaughters: Debbie (Duane) Gehring and Brenda (Scott) Bondy; four great- grandchildren: Shawn, Mat- thew, Nathan and Shane.

Friends will be received Saturday at the Harper Funeral Home, Beallsville from 2 to 8 p.m., where funeral services will be held Sunday, Jan. 1, 2006 at 1 p.m., with Jim Russ officiating. Burial will follow in Beallsville Cemetery with full Military Honors.
