Written by Carolyn Bryant White: "Following the death of my grandmother, Sarah Caroline Keyes Bryant, my Aunt Annie Jane lived with grandpa to take care of her younger brothers and sisters. Aunt Annie Jane was like a grandmother to all of the grandchildren. She was a lovely Christian woman and must have had the patience of Job to contend with so many grandchildren. I can truthfully say that I never saw her angry with any of us." Annie Jane never married. She spent her entire live taking care of her family. She devoted her life to God and to others.
