Mrs. Kate Trembath, 77, died this morning in Antioch hospital after an extended illness. She lived on the Antioch-Oakley highway near the "S" curve.
Born in Almaden, California she moved with her parents to Ruby Hill, Nevada when 5 years old. She resided in California 62 years.
Married in Brentwood to John Trembath, she and her husband celebrated their golden wedding anniversary April 14, 1945.
She is survived by her husband, John; a daughter, Mrs. Violet Sanchez of Berkeley; a son, Dr. John Trembath of Pittsburg; a brother, Archie Harris of Reno, Nevada; a sister, Minnie Moyle of Ely, Nevada; four grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Funeral arrangements are pending at the Higgins Funeral home here.
