Mrs. Essie Lee Roberts Sims, 88, of Milton, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 26, 2000. Mrs. Sims was a native of Chipley and had resided in the Milton area for many years. She was a member of the Pace Assembly of God Church for 61 years and was also a member of the Women's Ministries. She was a Diligent Prayer Warrior. She was preceded in death by her husband, James M. Roberts; and a son, Freddy Roberts. She is survived by her four children, 14 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and two sisters.
