MRS. ELLA KINKEAD WHITE
Ella B. Kinkead, daughter of Robt. W. and Jerusha Kinkead, was born near Cincinnati, Ohio, on August 12, 1847, and passed away at her home in Russell, Iowa, on August 29, 1933, at the age of 80 years and 17 days.
Funeral services, conducted by Rev. J. E. Clark, pastor of the Russell M. E. church, were held at the Beardsley Funeral Home in Chariton on Thursday afternoon at two o'clock, followed by interment in the Chariton cemetery.
Ella Kinkead came to Chariton with her parents about 1870, and had been a resident of this county ever since. For many years the family home was a short distance south of Chariton.
She was married to John W. White, of Russell, who died about thirteen years ago. She had three brothers, one of whom, F. B. Kinkead, of Pasadena, California, is still living. Two half sisters and one half brother also survive her. They are Mrs. Kate Nelson, of Kersey, Colorado; Mrs. W. E. Dobson, of Council Bluffs, Iowa and Robt. L. Kinkead of Chariton, Iowa. A number of other relatives are also living.
Mrs. White had lived in Russell for twenty-two years and had made many friends at that place who will miss her greatly. She had been a patient sufferer for many years and waited eagerly for the coming of the Master.
