James Edward Sellers, 63, of Mize died Dec. 23, 1971, at Magee General Hospital following a long illness.
Graveside funeral services at Pine Grove Cemetery were conducted at 2:30 p.m. Friday, The Rev. W. E. Green, Rev. Roberts, and the Rev. B. L. Roberts officiated, and interment followed. Mims Mitchell Funeral Home of Magee was in charge of arrangements.
Born July 11, 1908, in Smith county, he was a member of Shady Grove Baptist Church.
He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Lois Sellers, Mize; a son, Newell Sellers, Springfield, Tenn.; six brothers, Clifton Sellers, Oliver Sellers, Hubbard Sellers and Talbert Sellers, all of Mize, Douglas Sellers, Georgetown, and Sylvester Sellers, Mobile, Ala.; two sisters, Beatrice Marby, Jackson, and Estell Stewart, Canton; and one grandson, Mark Sellers.
