A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Genevieve Catholic Church in Thibodaux for Ellis Talbot Jr., 74, a native of Labadieville and resident of Thibodaux, who died at 9 a.m. Monday, Nov. 6.1995
Visitation will be 5 to 9 p.m. today and 8 a.m. to Funeral time Wednesday at Thibodaux Funeral Home.
Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery in Thibodaux.
He was the husband of Ethel Gaubert Talbot; father of Denis Talbot; brother of Raymond Talbot, Esther Hebert, Betty Ordoyne and Barbara Gravois.
He is also survived by four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ellis Sr. and Frances Berthelot Talbot; three brothers, Dudley, Alcide and Deoma Talbot; and two sisters, Sue Use and Hilda Davis.
Memorial donations may be made to St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital.
