Barbara Talbot Gravois, 77, a native of Thibodaux and resident of Choupic, passed from this earth Saturday, April 11, 2015.
Her request of no services will be honored. Instead, friends and loved ones are encouraged to think fondly of Barbara when working in their yards and gardens, one of her most favored pastimes.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Robert J. Gravois Sr.; children, Robert "Buckshot" Jr. (Jodie Carter), Jerry (Marybeth Crochet), Rob (Amie Naquin) and Todd (Lynne Borne); grandchildren, Nili Gravois Rougee, Chelsey Gravois LeCompte, Alicia Gravois, Robert Gravois III, Shea Gravois, Joshua Gravois and Mark Gravois; four great-grandchildren; and sister, Frances "Betty" Ordoyne.
She was preceded in death by her infant daughter, Arlene; parents, Ellis P. Talbot and Frances Berthelot Talbot; and siblings, Deoma, Ellis W., Dudley, Alcide, Raymond, Hilda Davis, Esther Hebert and Shirleen (Sue) Use'.
