Stanley H. Butte, 78, of 543 E. Beach, Pass Christian, died Friday at Memorial Hospital in Gulfport. He was a veteran of World War I and a partner in the Biloxi Fish Net Company. He worked for the company since its inception. Mr. Butte was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Biloxi, the Biloxi Yacht Club and Veterans of Foreign War Post 2434 in Biloxi. He attended Memphis University. He is survived by his widow, Mrs. Juliette P. Butte of Pass Christian; a daughter, Mrs. George (Margaret) Booth of Biloxi, and two grandchildren. Funeral services will be private at 10 a.m. Monday morning from the Bradford-O'Keefe Funeral chapel in Biloxi. Interments will be in the Biloxi Cemetery. Friends may call from the funeral home Sunday from 6 to 10 p.m. The family requests donations to the Crippled Children Fund.
