Ralph Davis, age 81, a longtime resident of Tonkawa, Oklahoma died Monday, February 28, 2005 at Blackwell Integris Regional Hospital, Blackwell, Oklahoma. He was born July 19, 1923 at Blackburn, Oklahoma to Asa Franklin and Mabel (Neely) Davis.

Funeral Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Thursday, March 3, 2005 in the Dugger Funeral Home Chapel, Tonkawa, Oklahoma with Pastor Mark Stevens officiating. Interment will follow in the I.O.O.F. Cemetery, Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Arrangements are under the direction of Dugger Funeral Home, Tonkawa, Oklahoma.

Memorials may be made to Dugger Funeral Home to assist the family with funeral expenses.

Ralph retired in 1985 after working 37 years at the Tonkawa Foundry and the B & L Foundry in Tonkawa as lead man and master core maker.

Ralph enjoyed gardening, steam tractors and taking photographs. He loved spending time with his family and friends.

Ralph is survived by his wife of 58 years, Margaret; their children, Bill and his wife Mary Cooper of Dallas, Texas, Jerry and his wife Nancy Cooper of Blackwell, Oklahoma, Wilma (Cooper) Vanhook of Enid, Oklahoma, Terry and his wife Janice (Davis) Kenemore of Wellington, Kansas; eight grandchildren and seventeen great grandchildren; his sisters, Violet Magg and Rosie King of Tonkawa, Oklahoma; numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.

Ralph was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Asa Davis; two sisters, Thelma Haney and Joan Anderson; one infant granddaughter and one infant great-grandson.
