John, age 22, married Fannie Berry, 21, on September 10, 1905. Both were born in TX.

On April 28, 1910, John R. & Fannie R., ages 27 & 26, were renting a farm in Justice Precinct 8, Wise Co, TX with their two children: Ina L., age 3, & Thomas M., 1 & 10 months. They had been married 5 years; Fannie had given birth to 2 children.

Sometime later they moved to Jack Co, TX where they lived on Jan. 3/5, 1920, when the Federal Census was taken.
John R. & Fannie A., ages 36 & 34, were now parents of Ana Lee, age 13; Thomas F., 11; James B., 7; J.D., 5; & Elizabeth, 1 year & 1 month. They owned their home, & John was employed in a cotton gin.

On April 14, 1930, John R. & Fannie A., ages 47 & 46, lived in Perrin Village, Precinct 2, Jack Co, TX. Their home was valued at $700. John worked as a pressman in a cotton gin.
Children still at home were J. Burford, age 15, who worked as a salesman in a grocery store; Florence E., 11; & Richard O., 7.

ohn R. & Fannie, ages 57 & 56, were renting a home in Perrin on April 15, 1940. John had continued to work at the cotton gin as a pressman. Fannie was employed as a telephone operator for Home Telephone Electric Company. At the end of 1939, Fannie was shown as having earned $600 during the year; John had earned $120. Their son, Richard B., was 17.

John died at home from Sarcoma of the bones on August 8, 1955. He had lived 72 years, 4 months, & 29 days. His wife, shown as Mrs. J.R. Bond was the informant on his death certificate. He was buried August 10.
