Mrs. John Manahan Dies at Home Here Tuesday

Mrs. John Manahan, aged 53 years and 11 months, died at the family home in Fairfield Tuesday morning at 8:30 after a lingering illness of several months. Burial was in Fairfield Cemetry Wednesday morning at 10:30 after services at First Baptist Church of which she had long been a member. Rev. W. R. Miller, pastor of the Church conducted the services, assisted by the Revs. James Morgan and H. L. McKissack.

Pall Bearers were Franklin and Clyde-Glazener, Jen Fryer, P. D. Browne, L. J. Davis and Howard Odom

Mrs. Manahan was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ben Willard of Lake Chapel and she was born and reared in that vicinity. Besides her parents and her husband, she is survived by the following near relatives: two children, Mrs. Zack Stroud and Willard Manahan of Fairfield; four sisters, Mrs. Tom Bonner of Fairfield, Mrs. Paul of Stewards Mill; Mrs. Leon Childs of Al???? and Mrs. Morris Ritter of Ward Prairie; five brothers, Kirt, Vernon, Colon, Tommie Willard all of Fairfield and vicinity and Joe Willard of Dallas.
