Lawrence Patrick Whalen,76 years 1 month 14 days old, was the oldest child and son of Martin Henry Whalen and Gertrude Johanna Jennie Bescheinen Whalen.He was born on 05 March 1916 in the Halloran Community on Ten Mile Creek, Epps Township, Butler County, Missouri. (Rural Poplar Bluff, Missouri).

Lawrence was a World War II Veteran.

Lawrence and Laverne had no children.

Lawrence was a farmer and avid Coon Hunter.
