Funeral services for Miss Tressie Berry, 81, were held Tuesday, March 18 at the Houston Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was at Wesley Chapel Cemetery with the Rev. Paul Danner officiating.
Miss Berry died Sunday, March 16, at Hillcrest Manor Nursing Home in Aberdeen. She was a retried agent of the Union Bankers Insurance Co.
She was born in Calhoun City, the daughter of Abram M Berry and Margaret Reeder Berry but had lived most of her life in Houston. She was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
She is survived by a number of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers included Curtis Womble, Clyde Berry, Langston Kilgore, John Roland, Herman Berry, Jr. and Doyle Berry, Jr.
