Lora Berry, 69, Dies at Hospital in Houston
Funeral services were conducted from the Houston Funeral Home Chapel at 2 pm, Sunday, Feb. 8, for Lora Howell Berry, 69, retired farmer of route 2, Houston, who died at 11:10, Feb. 6 at the Houston Hospital.
The Rev. W F Clark officiated. Interment was in the Wesley Chapel Cemetery.
Mr. Berry, a native of Calhoun County, was the son of Marshall Berry and Margaret Berry. He was a Baptist.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Nancy Burgess Berry of Houston; a son, Doyle Berry of Plains, Ga.; a daughter, Mrs. Curtis Wamble of Monroe. La., a sister, Miss Tressie Berry of Houston; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
