COAL CREEK WOMAN EXPIRES IN HOSPITAL
Mrs. Annie Graham, long-time resident of Coal Creek, died at a Canon City hospital Sunday evening. In poor health for a period of three years, she was taken to the hospital about three weeks ago.
Mrs. Graham was the widow of the late Robert Graham, well-known Coal Creek man, who died two years ago.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Otto Richards of Buffalo, Wyo., and Mrs. Pete Hay of Coal Creek; four sons, Robert of Leadville, Melvin and David of Long Beach, Calif., and Eugene of Coal Creek; two brothers, Caraddock I. Davies of Florence, and Idwell Davies of Long Beach; one sister, Mrs. Charles Ohlson of Great Falls, Mont.;: and two grandchildren.
Mrs. Graham was one of the old-time residents of Coal Creek and numbered her friends throughout the entire county.
Her body is in the care of the Philipsen mortuary of Florence. Funeral arrangements will be announced later.

FLORENCE NEWS
GRAHAM FUNERAL HELD WEDNESDAY
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Annie Graham, Wednesday afternoon, at two o'clock at the Philipsen mortuary.
The Rev. James R. Burchfield of the Presbyterian church officiated. Mrs. Howard Lloyd and Mrs. Frank Seneker sang "The Old Rugged Cross," and "In the Garden." The parlors were filled with relatives and friends. There was an unusually large number of beautiful flowers.
The Evening Star Rebekah lodge of Coal Creek attended in a body, also conducted graveside services. Interment was in Union Highland cemetery. Flower bearers were Mrs. Salvia, Mrs. Wardrope, Mrs. Jim Hays and Mrs. Capello. Pallbearers were James Weir, Victor McCalmet (sic), Max Capello, Jim Hays, John Evans and Mr. Angona.
