Elva T. Moger, 96, of Shambaugh, died Oct 22, 1984, at Goldenrod Manor in Clarinda where she had been since 1978.
She was born Aug 27, 1888 in Guthrie County, Ia, the daughter of Rev Jonathan Wiseman Cabbage and Mary Isabell Miller. She was married to Judson A. Moger on Feb 22, 1909 in Hazelton, ND. He preceded her in death in 1962.
She was also preceded by her parents, a son, Leon and a daughter, Elsie Walker.
Survivors include a daughter-in-law, Flora W. Moger of Boone, Ia; one granddaughter; two great-grandchildren and one great-great-granddaughter; and two sisters, Grace Ropp of Clarinda and Zola Beery of Urbana, Il.
Funeral services were held this Thursday afternoon at the Shambaugh Church of God with burial in the Clarinda cemetery. Memorials may be directed to the church.
