"FOURTH GENERATION (to Richard Warren, Mayflower passenger): Abigail Gibbs, daughter of Alice Warren Gibbs and her husband, Thomas Gibbs, was born at Sandwich, Mass.; married at Sandwich on Nov. 26, 1697 to Jireh Swift the son of William Swift, Jr., and his wife, Ruth Swift. Jireh was born about 1665 and died at Wareham, Mass., in April 1749. Abigail Gibbs died before November, 1741.
