CLENNY DAVID, 67, formerly of St. Petersburg, died Saturday (Feb. 6, 1988) at his residence in Chiefland. Born in Mulberry, he moved to Chiefland in 1973. In St. Petersburg he was a patrolman who retired from the Police Department in 1957 and later worked in security management for Maas Brothers. During World War II, he served in the Navy Seabees. He was a member of the Trenton Church of Christ.
Survivors include his wife, Jenny; a son, Stanley David, Chiefland; a daughter, Janice Yelvington, Gainesville; his mother, Edith M. Beach, Trenton; three brothers, Frank of Melrose, and Forrest and Douglas, both of Trenton; two sisters, Edna Peterson, High Springs, and Patsy Anderson, Cross City; and five grandchildren. Knauff Funeral Home, Chiefland.
