Gainesville Sun, The (FL) - Tuesday, September 26, 2006 Beach , John Franklin Jr., 87 Gainesville- died Monday, September 25, 2006 at the age of 87. Mr. Beach was born in Trenton, Fl. He was retired from USDA Soil Conservation and was a member of West Gainesville Church of Christ. He was also a Preacher and Preached in Umatilla, Green Cove Springs, Dade City, Fort Meade, Clermont, Melrose, and Center Hill. Mr. Beach is survived by his wife, Maude Beach of Gainesville; Son, Max Louis Beach of Hawthorne, Fl; Daughters, Marilda Ann Smith of Greenbrier, TN; and Velma Thomasina England of Gaston, SC; Brothers, Forest L. and Douglas K. Beach of Trenton, Fl; Sisters, Patricia Anderson of Cross City, Fl and Edna Peterson of High Springs, Fl; 9 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Funeral services for Mr. Beach will be held Wednesday, September 27, 11:00am at Williams-Thomas West area Funeral Home, 823 NW 143rd St. The Family will receive friends Tuesday evening from 5:30-7:00pm at the Funeral Home. Those who wish may make a memorial contribution to Haven Hospice of North Central Florida.
