Miss Ida Lucinda Simpson, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. B. F. Simpson of Doniphan county married Aaron Samuel Kout, March 25, 1903. The wedding took place at the Baptist parsonage in Atchison.
Mr. and Mrs. Kout lived on the Kout family homestead 36 years until he retired. At that time they moved to Denton.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. John M. Joyce, who with her husband lives on the Kout homestead; a son, Henry B. Kout of Shannon; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
