Myrtle Neal Franatovich passed away on November 19, 2008 in Slidell, La. Age 98; she was a native of Hancock County, MS and a resident of St. Bernard Parish, she worked as a street car conductor on the St. Claude line, she was a retired nurse and she owned and operated the Bliss Haven Rest Home.

She is preceded in death by her by her husbands Nicholas Franatovich and Wiley Lott. She is survived by 4 sons; Albert Franatovich and wife Ezilda, Raymond Franatovich and wife Marguerite, Paul Franatovich and wife Dorothy, and Harry Franatovich and wife Marie. She is preceded in death by her parents George Neal and Elizabeth Louper Neal, as well as 8 of her children; William B. Lott, Dixie Bell Lott Hall, Cherryll Franatovich, Ronald Franatovich, Earl Franatovich, Harold Franatovich, Eddie Franatovich, and Nicholas Franatovich, Jr. She leaves 31 grandchildren and 51 great grandchildren and many Great Great Grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Funeral Service services at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens Funeral Home Chapel on Monday, November 24th, 2008 at 12:00 noon, with Rev. John Jefferies officiating. Visitation will be Monday from 9:00 A.M. until services begin, with burial to follow at St. Vincent de Paul Cemetery in New Orleans, La. Friends desiring to do so may make memorial contribution to the First Baptist Church, Building Fund, 2010 W. Beauregard, Chalmette, La. 70043 of which she was a member, under the direction of the St. Bernard Memorial Funeral Home, 701 W. Virtue St., Chalmette, LA.
