The funeral of the late Mrs. Austin was held last Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Congregational church, Rev. John Russell Henderson officiating. The pall bearers were Anson Howard, C. H. Chute, William Orton, A. Z. Norton, Perry Bullis and Geo. Smith.
Mrs. Austin was the widow of an old soldier and the pall bearers were all old comrades of her husband. The funeral was attended by many of the old settlers of Princeton who had known Mrs. Austin for many years. The interment was at Oak Knoll Cemetery.
