Rosie, age 84, was the daughter of Alfred and Inez (Vernarsdale) Cox. She was the wife of Hobert V. Sweat. They were married on August 22, 1931, in Bowling Green, Ohio. She was a homemaker and a member of the Monroe Missionary Baptist Church. Rosie was survived by her husband; sons, Raymond, Richard, and Robert. She was preceded in passing by four brothers, three sisters, and a granddaughter, Janet. Rosie was laid to rest in Roselawn Memorial Park, LaSalle, Mi.
