BRIDGEPORT, Ill. - Clella M. Abernathy, 89, Lawrenceville, formerly of Bridgeport, died Monday, May 21, 2007 at United Methodist Village North Campus in Lawrenceville.
She was a retired nurses aide and formerly worked at Lawrence County Memorial Hospital as well as Bridgeport Health Care.
Her husband, Joseph Abernathy, is deceased.
Survivors include one daughter-in-law, Evelyn Abernathy of Bridgeport; five grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was conducted at Cresthaven Memorial Park Cemetery with Bro. Dale Roberts officiating.
Arrangements were handled by Cunningham Funeral Home, 441 Lanterman St.
