Frances was a daughter, a sister, a mother, a grandmother, an aunt and a cousin. Frances always was interested in her family history and enjoyed listening to stories told to her by her grandfather Frank. She started collecting family letters, birth and death certificates, newspaper articles relating to her family. She became a member of D.A.A. in the early 1960s proving she was in fact a daughter of the American Revolution. She was not one to stay put traveling to almost every country. She helped organize the Girl Scouts on the south side of Chicago in the 1950s and was a Mariner scout leader in her eldest daughter's troop, also in the early 1950s. She collaborated in the compilation of a genealogical book regarding her father's family with a 'cousin' who lived in MA. Her favorite place to live as was my father's was when they lived in Mass. in the 1940's before moving to IL. She never knew just how many people she affected but they were many. Her love of life continued up until the end. She was sorely missed upon her passing by many family members and friends. Rest in peace Frances and know that you were loved in life and in death!
