Graveside services for Martha Mae Irvin Blomquist, 93, of Cedar Creek Lake and formerly of Bartlett, were held Jan 6, 2006 at Bellwood Memorial Park in Temple under the direction of Harper-Talasek Funeral Home. Rev Tim Weatheread of Mabank, Texas officiated. She died Sunday Jan 1, 2006.
Martha Mae Blomquist was born July 8, 1912 in Bartlett to Ruff and Myrtle (Gollehon) Irvin. She graduated from Bartlett High School in 1932 and worked for a local variety store until her marriage to Raymond Blomquist in October, 1942.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, on Jan 27, 1988 after 45 years of marriage; her parents; a brother Roy Irvin of Taylor, a sister Velma Miles of Austin; and a great-niece, Deborah Ann Frishman of Katy.
Survivors include her daughter Patricia of Cedar Creek Lake, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
