CARLSBAD--Terry Ann Lara, 27, of Presidio Street, died Saturday, April 6, 1996, at Columbia Guadalupe Medical Center.
A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. today at Denton-Funchess Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Spanish Church of Christ with Tony Rodriguez officiating. Interment will follow at Santa Catarina Cemetery.
Ms. Lara was born Jan. 22, 1969, in Carlsbad, to Pablo and Olivia Acosta Lara. Due to significant illness, she was cared for by her family all of her life.
Survivors include her parents, Pablo and Olivia Lara of Carlsbad; brother Larry Lara of Carlsbad; sister Petra Lara of Carlsbad; and maternal grandparents Juan and Elisa Acosta of Carlsbad.
Bearers will be Michael Acosta, Victor Garcia Jr., Rudy Martinez, Jerry Melendrez, Abraham Venegas and Juan Venegas.
