FRANCISCO HOLGUIN
Services for Francisco Holguin, 90, of Malaga will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. at Cristo Rey Church in Malaga with Father Bede Phelps officiating. Holguin died in Hobbs Thursday.
Rosary services will be recited today at 7 p.m. at the Cleto Rodriquez residence west of Malaga.
Burial will be in Santa Catarina Cemetery. Pall bearers will be Ernesto Rodriquez, Eugene Rodriquez, Chon Ramirez, Andres Ramirez, Richard Armendariz and Cleto Rodriquez.
Holguin was born in Chihuahua, Mexico. He came to the United States in 1907, living in Presidio, Tex., until moving to Malaga in 1922. He was employed at the Harroun Farm east of Malaga for many years. He was a member of Cristo Rey Catholic Church.
Survivors include three nephews, Cleto Rodriquez, Malaga, Conrado Rodriquez, Carlsbad, and Carlos Rodriquez, Pecos, Tex., and three nieces, Estell Duarte, Roswell, Pilar Ramirez, Malaga, and Octabiana Madrid, Presidio, Tex.
