Neva H Smith, 63, of Tolono died at 10:20 p.m. Monday (Nov 25, 1991) at home. Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday at First Baptist Church of Tolono, 204 W Holden St, Tolono. The Rev George Davis and the Rev Dwight McDaniel will officiate. Burial will be in Bailey Memorial Cemetery, Tolono. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Freese Funeral Home, 407 N Bourne St, Tolono. Mrs Smith was born Dec 15, 1927, at Kahoka, Mo, a daughter of Earl B and Opal Halferty Sherwood. She married the Rev Truman L Smith on Sept 3, 1949, at Kahoka, Mo. He survives. Also surviving are a son, David E S Smith of Houston; a daughter Lou Ann Smith of Urbana; and her mother of Tolono. She was preceded in death by her father. Mrs Smith was a member of the First Baptist church of Tolono, where she and her husband served for 20 years. Memorial contributions may be made to the First Baptist church of Tolono or the American Cancer Society.
