I have lived in Tolono all my life and an active member of the Tolono Historical Society and Veterans Museum. I am currently updating files for the Bailey Memorial Cemetery to assure that all local Veterans are on our list. This has led me into connecting families and correcting errors and duplicates that I come across. Rest assure if you get an edit suggestion from me I have done my homework. I research and compare dates and names through Ancestry, Find A Grave and a few local sources. I am currently locating all the Tolono Village Presidents aka Mayors of Tolono to include in our history of Tolono at the Historical Society. When I see that they (or others I come across) are not connected to their loved ones I research to find them and connect them. My biggest challenge on this project is that the information I have to start from are initials for their first and middle name. But so far, I have been able to match them with newspaper articles about their election and other sources.
