ATKINS, PAULA M., 88 - of Lewes, DE, died Wednesday, September 17, 2003, at Harbor Healthcare and Rehab. Center in Lewes, DE. Mrs. Atkins retired from the Real Estate business in Vineland and became a homemaker in 1974 when she married Raymond R. Atkins and moved to Lewes, DE. Raymond preceded Mrs. Atkins in death on February 12, 1998.Paula was a member of the Rehoboth Beach Yacht and Country Club and the Lewes Yacht Club. She enjoyed dining out and playing bridge. She was also a member of the Lewes Presbyterian Church. She is survived by two sons: Tucker Ackley of Lewes, DE; Thomas Ackley and his wife Ruth; granddaughter Jennifer Riggio and her husband; and a great grandson Kenneth Riggio, all of Vineland; a stepdaughter Judith Roberts and her husband James; brother James McClain and his wife Norma, and a sister Elizabeth Murphy and husband Bernard, all of Lewes, DE; and a brother William McClain and his wife Biruts of Charlotte, NC; and many nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.A private burial will be held in Coolspring Cemetery. A Celebration of Life Ceremony will be announced at a late date. It is requested that any contributions in Paula's memory be made to the Lewes Presbyterian Church, P.O. Box 612, Lewes, DE 19958 or to the Lewes Public Library, 111 Adams Avenue, Lewes, DE 19958 Attn: Director (please designate donations in Memory of Paula M.
