At the time of her death she was a resident of Towne Manor West Nursing Home in Norristown, PA., previous to that she also had lived in North Wales, PA and West Point, PA.
Mary was Cremated and put in with her parents.
Mary P. Horace passed away peacefully on Sunday, September 4, 2011 at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia. She was 76. Ms. Horace was a resident of East Norriton Twp. Born in Philadelphia, PA on December 17, 1934, she was a daughter of the late John Kane Horace and Katherine L. (Mars) Horace. Surviving is her loving family including a sister, Katherine T. Powell of King of Prussia; and many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers: John J., James, George and Robert Horace. Funeral services and interment will be private at the request of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Mary's memory to the Jefferson Foundation, 925 Walnut St., Suite 110, Philadelphia, PA 19107.
