Conduct Funeral Rites for B. C. Moomaw
COVINGTON, Va., March 23 --- Funeral services for B. C. Moomaw, prominent Alleghany citizen, who died Monday, were held at his home, in the Falling Springs Valley, this afternoon, followed by interment at Cedar Hill Cemetery in Covington. Rev. S. B. Hoyt, pastor of Presbyterian Church in the Valley, and Rev. Dr. Emmett W. McCorkle, of Rockbridge Baths, officiated.
Resided in Buena Vista, Savannah, Barber and Falling Spring, Virginia (between Covington and what would eventually become Lake Moomaw, named for his son Benjamin Cline, Jr.).
