SPRINGFIELD - Mary A. "Toni" Aldridge, 92, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, in the Gill Odd Fellows Home in Ludlow.

She was born in Barton, Vt., on April 9, 1919, daughter of George and Mary (Brooks) Bousquet, and was raised there, graduating from Barton Academy. She had lived several years in Bellows Falls before moving to Springfield.

Her husband, Herbert L. Aldridge, died in 1984.

Toni and her husband enjoyed traveling and camping and many hobbies together.

She was a member of the Springfield Senior Center, where she was a Songster for 22 years.

Survivors include her three daughters: Barbara Wiggins and her husband Martin of Sunapee, N.H.; Madelyn Sears and her husband Bill of Ludlow; and Elaine Snow of Ludlow; a brother, George Bousquet and his wife Mary of Bellows Falls; seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by several brothers and sisters: Irene McDermott, Maurice Bousquet, Leo Bousquet, Pete Bousquet, Anita Byrd, Dick Bousquet, Philip Bousquet, and Claire Shaughnessy.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Oct. 22, 2011 at 11 a.m. in St. Mary's Catholic Church in Springfield. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.

There are no visiting hours.
