Edwin owned and operated Quentmeyer Brothers Badger Paint Store. He died at his place of business of a heart attack. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1920 and attended Marquette Univerity School of Pharmacy. He worked as an apprentice pharmacist at the Local Corner Drug store for several years before going into business with his brother. He married Frances Hoehne in August, 1928.
