Died: Heart disease, arteriosclerosis. She was only an infant when the family came to the United States from Germany. The family settled in Watertown. In 1898 she maried August C. Quentmeyer and they moved to Columbus, Wisconsin. She was a member of Zion Lutheran church and a charter member of the Ladies Aid.

The marriage of August C. Quentmeyer and Mrs. Minnie Schaefer was observed in a quiet way at Columbus on Wednesday evening of last week, Rev. O. O. Koch, of the Lutheran church officiating. The groom is a son of our townsman, W. F. Quentmeyer, and is now engaged in business at Columbus. The bride, who was formerly Miss Minnie Bartz, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. F. Bartz, of this city, has been a resident of Columbus for some time. The many Watertown friends of the contracting parties extend hearty congratulations over this happy event.

Fred Schaeffer, a young man some known here, died at his home in Columbus last Wednesday, of consumption, aged about 26 years. Deceased was married a couple years ago to Miss Minnie Bartz, of this city.
