Mary Jane Baker Vanbuskirk

Mary Jane was a daughter of John Baker and Mary Hannah Baker. She married Tilman Vanbuskirk on December 1, 1859 in Fayette Co. IN.

"FALMOUTH WOMAN IS DEAD Mrs. Jane VanBuskirk Expires After Illness of Thirteen Weeks. Mrs. Jane VanBuskirk, a prominent and well known woman of Falmouth, died at her home in that place Thursday evening about six o'clock, death resulting from a 13 week's illness. The deceased would have been 82 years old in May, and she was the widow of the late Tilman VanBuskirk, who preceded her in death a number of years ago. She is survived by two brothers, David Baker of Falmouth and James Baker of Milton. The services will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Fairview cemetery church in charge of the Rev. G. S. Powers of Nenevah, assisted by the Rev. Mr. Swearingen of Falmouth, and burial will take place in the cemetery nearby. [The Daily Republican, Rushville, Rush Co. IN April 14, 1922, p. 3.]
