Madge G. Ayer, age 93, of 2371 Elko Road, Elko, died Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at her daughter's residence in Cochran.

Born in Bellville, she was the daughter of the late Norman Gilbert Gignilliat and Dicy Strickland Gignilliat. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Unadilla, the widow of Lewis Ayer and had owned and operated Grove Park Country Store.

Survivors include:
Daughter: Margaret Butts (Wallace) of Cochran

Sons:
Lewis Ayer, Jr. (Lucy) of Perry
Charles Ayer (Dianne) of Perry

Grandchildren: 6
Great Grandchildren: 13
Great Great Grandchildren: 1

Funeral services will be at 11 AM Friday, October 21 in First Baptist Church of Unadilla with Dr. Bob Murphy and Rev. Terry Moseley officiating. Interment will follow in Walnut Cemetery.
