Jefferson, GA - Boyd Kesler, 70, retired farmer of Rt. 3, Jefferson, died Saturday morning at his residence following a period of declining health and a brief serious illness.
He was born in Franklin County, March 4, 1893, a son of the late George F. and Nancy Arthur Kesler. He was a member of the Bethany Methodist Church at Brockton.
Survivors: his widow, Mrs. Mae Potts Kesler; one daughter, Mrs. Clifford Norene Potts, Rt. 3 Jefferson; three sons, Charles W. Kesler, Wichita Falls, Texas, Vance H. Kesler, and Jack B. Kesler, of Jefferson; five grandchildren; one great grandchild; three brothers, J. W. Kesler, of Talmo, Ga., Robert Kesler, Des Moines, Iowa, and Homer Kesler, of Chicago.
Funeral services 3:30 p.m. Sunday, Bethany Methodist Church, the Rev. Philip Fair officiating. Burial church cemetery.
