Elsie married Henry Aling on 13 Nov 1911 in Carthage, Jasper County, Missouri. They were the parents of at least 4 children.
At the time of her death at the Garnett Nursing Home in Jerseyville, Elsie was 88 years, 2 months and 2 days old. She was survived by 2 daughters, Angelus Pearson of Tucson, Arizona, and Martha Aling of Jerseyville.
In addition to her parents, Elsie was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, who passed away in 1949; an infant daughter, Elizabeth; and their only son, John, who died in 1966.
Visitation was held after 4 p.m. on 09 Sep 1969 at the C. C. Hanks Funeral Home in Hardin. Funeral services were conducted there at 9 a.m. the following morning. Elsie was then buried at St. Norbert's Catholic Cemetery in Hardin.
