Mrs. Katie Estella Tritapoe, widow of Edward Ashton Tritapoe, a native of Frederick County, died Friday morning after an illness of five weeks, aged 75 years.
She was the daughter of the late Jacob F. and Charlotte E. Forrest. For the past nine years she made her home with her brother, Charles in Smithsburg. She was a member of the United Brethren Church, Middletown.
Surviving are brothers: Edgar B., Hagerstown; Omar E., Funkstown and Charles J., Smithsburg; sisters, Mrs. Jennie B. Long, Smithsburg and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held from the Minnich Funeral Home, Smithsburg on Sunday afternoon at 2 p.m. with the Rev. George Shimer, D. D. officiating. Interment is the Lutheran Cemetery, Middletown.
