Clayton Schenck and Miss Fannie Adolph were united in marriage Thursday morning at 10:30. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Case at the Methodist parsonage in this city. When the knot was tied the wedding party repaired to the home of the groom's brother, Loyd Schenck, on East Des Moines street, where a splendid dinner was served. After dinner the happy couple went to the home of the bride's parents near Huntington where a reception and charvari was tendered them. Both these young people are very well known in their neighborhood and have hosts of good friends. They will start farming at once on the groom's father's farm one and one-half miles southeast of Huntington. We extend congratulations. (Vindicator and Republican, Estherville, IA, February 17, 1915)
