He was born in Russia and came to Seattle 30 years ago, operating a shoe repair shop here for many years. Mr. Deines died Sunday in a local hospital. He is survived by three sons, Denny, Alex and Joseph, and a daughter, Mrs. Catherine Stewart of Seattle.
