Mrs. Martha C. Bowers, 71, wife of Maurice D. Bowers, Taneytown R D 1, died unexpectedly at the Hanover General Hospital Tuesday, May 31, 1960, at 8:45 pm. a few hours after she was admitted. A daughter of the late Jonas and Selena Shull Myers, she was a member of Piney Creek Church of the Brethren, near Taneytown.

In addition to her husband, she leaves six children:
