COOKEVILLE -Elva Grace Miller, 75, will be memorialized in funeral services
Saturday, September 24, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel of Whitson Funeral Home.
Burial will be in Smellage Cemetery.
Mrs. Miller died Wednesday, September 21, 1988 in Masters Health Care
Center.
Born July 18, 1913, she was the daughter of the late Maurice and Martha
Myers Bowers.
Mrs. Miller was a retired restaurant owner and a member of Piney Creek
Church of the Brethren in Taneytown, Maryland.
Her family includes two daughters, Babe "Betty" Kelly of Rickman and Shirley
Spencer of Westminister, Maryland; four sisters, Alice Wolfe of Taneytown,
Margie Boyd of Gettysburg, Pennsylvania, Mary Bair of Hummelstown,
Pennsylvania and Charlotte Sentz of Littlestown, Pennsylvania, 9
grandchildren and 13 greatgrandchildren.
Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Kerr Miller, Jr.
